Guided Relaxation
Systematic relaxation is a tool that one can master with a little practice. Twenty minutes a day is a good goal to set for your practice. The best times to do the relaxation are when your stomach is empty. It could be part of your morning Yoga and Meditation or you could do it before lunch as a way to relieve the morning stress from work. Another time could be when you get home from work to release the tension accumulated during the day. If you have trouble sleeping at night, the relaxation can be done right before going to bed (particularly helpful for those with insomnia).
